The WKU Student Research Council is seeking judges for the 50th Annual WKU Student Research Conference scheduled for March 28 in the Downing Student Union.
Judging involves joining a small panel to evaluate a session of approximately six student presentations or posters in one subject area (arts/humanities, business, health and human services, interdisciplinary, natural sciences, or social sciences and education). The typical commitment is two hours per session, and judges may volunteer for one or more sessions. Current WKU faculty and staff, retired WKU faculty and staff, WKU alumni, and community members are invited to volunteer to be judges. Lunch that day is provided to judges as a small token of appreciation.
Many of our students will give their first professional presentation at this conference, and the Student Research Council believes judges are critical to the success of this event.
If you are willing to serve as a judge, please complete the short form at https://www.wku.edu/studentresearch/judgeinfo.php by Monday, March 9. Here you can indicate your preferences for the number of sessions and the time(s) of day that you are available.
