CITL presenting webinar on remote teaching technologies
- Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning
- Tuesday, March 10th, 2020
Being able to continue teaching when, due to unforeseen and dramatic situations, it’s not possible for you or your students to be in the classroom, is important to learning. To help you prepare, the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning is offering the webinar “Teaching When Being in the Classroom is Not Possible” several times over the next two weeks.
These dates and times are:
- Wednesday, March 11: 1-2 p.m.
- Thursday, March 12: 11 a.m.-noon
- Tuesday, March 17: 2:30-3:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 18: 8-9 a.m.
- Friday, March 20: 2-3 p.m.
During the webinar, we’ll introduce and discuss some technologies, such as Blackboard, Zoom and Mediasite, you can use if you need to temporarily be out of the classroom.
Register for any of these sessions using the Teaching When Being in the Classroom is Not Possible registration form.
CITL has also created a Continuity of Instruction webpage. This webpage contains a lot of the same information provided in the webinar as well as written and video tutorials on the processes mentioned on the webpage. By the end of the week, the webpage will also have a recording of the webinar.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to CITL with any questions or concerns while you consider how to teach when you and/or your students can’t be in the classroom.
