CFS Offers COVID-19 Financial Services to WKU Students
- Tuesday, May 5th, 2020
The WKU Center for Financial Success (CFS) has free campus resources available to help WKU students navigate the challenges of managing their personal finances. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CFS team is working virtually to provide students with financial guidance. They are providing these services via virtual financial coaching sessions using the WKU Zoom Video Conferencing software.
Due to the financial challenges and complexities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to their usual lineup, the CFS team are offering new COVID-19 specific services such as:
- Guidance with how to best manage potential University refunds (that may have originated as student loans), stimulus checks, emergency grants, and/or unemployment benefits.
- Plan ahead for the cost of attending WKU this coming Fall
- Live, personal assistance with applications for unemployment benefits
- Individualized strategies relating to COVID-19 federal student loan relief programs
The best way to schedule a virtual coaching session with the WKU Center for Financial Success is to fill out the form at this link (https://www.wku.edu/cfs/become-a-client.php) or email the CFS at financialsuccess@wku.edu. Additionally the CFS team is providing weekly posts and videos with financial tips related to covid-19 financial success on their Instagram page (@wkucfs).
