WKU Graduate School to host Three Minute Thesis competition

The WKU Graduate School will host its inaugural 3MT® competition in February. The 3MT® competition is an academic research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia.
Graduate students have up to three minutes to synthesize key findings from their projects and concisely present their research such that a lay audience can understand.
Students interested in competing must:
- Be actively enrolled in a Graduate Degree Program (Master’s, Specialist or Doctoral), and be in good academic standing
- Have their research/faculty advisor’s approval
- Complete the WKU 3MT® Application Form by the deadline of February 10
- Present a video during the submission window, February 15-22
Virtual information sessions will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. January 28 and February 3.
The first-place winner will represent WKU at the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS) 3MT® virtual competition.
