Jayden Thomas Spotlight
- Monday, November 25th, 2019
Jayden Thomas (MHC ‘21), a Political Science major from Barren County, was recently awarded a U.S. Foreign Service Internship with the U.S. State Department. This summer, he will be spending ten weeks in Washington D.C. Next summer, he will be spending his time at an embassy of his choice (he’s thinking Tokyo).
Jayden also commented on his Honors experience, “Honors provided me with a network of other scholars that are just as eager to succeed as I am. Together, we are able to collaborate and share resources and opportunities to help one another succeed.”
He gives a big thanks (and so do we) to the Office of Scholar Development. With their help, Jayden has also been awarded a Critical Language Scholarship, a Gilman Scholarship, and the Freeman Asia Award.
Keep up all the good work, Jayden & keep reaching for those Big Dreams!
