We are excited to announce our new MHC Admissions Counselor...Laura King!
Laura is a 2020 alum of the MHC and WKU, and will be joining our team next week!
From Laura:
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities and experiences I had as a student and am looking forward to returning to the Hill to serve The Mahurin Honors College!
I am a Bowling Green native and recent graduate of Western Kentucky University and the Mahurin Honors College. In my time at WKU, I was a member of the HonorsToppers student ambassadors and Kappa Delta Sorority, and served as a counselor and direction leader for the Honors Freshmen Orientation Retreat (H4). I spent my summers working as a Cabin Counselor for Interlochen Arts Camp and a Resident Advisor for the Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program. During my junior year, I traveled abroad to Florence, Italy studying intercultural communication, theatre, and Italian language and cuisine. In my free time, I enjoy creating Spotify playlists, listening to podcasts, going for walks, and jamming to some hit Broadway tunes.”
