WKU Winter Weather Alert for Feb. 11

Here's a WKU winter weather update for Thursday (Feb. 11):

Offices at ALL WKU campuses will be closed and in-person classes have been canceled for Thursday (Feb. 11) because of the potential for a significant ice storm. Remote learning will continue and employees who can work from home are encouraged to do so. Everyone is encouraged to stay off the roads and sidewalks if possible until the ice is cleared. Check www.wku.edu for the latest information.

  • Parking & Transportation Services will be closed Thursday.
  • The WKU Store will be closed Thursday.
  • The Kentucky Museum will be closed Thursday.
  • WKU Admissions has canceled campus tours Thursday; reschedule at www.wku.edu/visitwku. Admissions staff will be available to answer questions via phone, email, text or live chat.
  • The Preston Center will open at 10 a.m. Thursday.
  • WKU Soccer has canceled its home match against Bellarmine on Thursday.
