WKU Winter Weather Alert for Feb. 12

Here's a WKU winter weather update for Friday (Feb. 12):

There is still ice on some walks, steps and roads on campus and in outlying areas, so offices at ALL WKU campuses will remain closed and in-person classes canceled for Friday (Feb. 12). Remote learning will continue and employees who can work from home are encouraged to do so. Everyone is encouraged to stay off the roads and sidewalks if possible until the ice is cleared. Check www.wku.edu for the latest information.

  • Parking & Transportation Services will be closed Friday.
  • The WKU Store will be closed Friday.
  • The Kentucky Museum will be closed Friday.
  • WKU Admissions has canceled campus tours Friday; reschedule at www.wku.edu/visitwku. Admissions staff will be available to answer questions via phone, email, text or live chat.
  • The Preston Center will open at 9 a.m. Friday.
