Updates from the Provost
- Tuesday, March 16th, 2021
Good morning,
Daylight savings time reminds me that Spring, my favorite season, is just around the corner. While I dislike adjusting to the time change, I really do enjoy the longer days. As we approach the end of the semester and all of its traditional celebrations, please remember that WKU continues to follow the Healthy on the Hill guidelines. We remain hopeful that we will have opportunities for celebrations that are carried out safely and responsibly. Please, if you have not already, schedule an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine. We really are only as protected as the people around us.
It is my pleasure to announce the Spring 2021 Faculty Award winners for each College and the Libraries. To have been nominated and chosen by College faculty is an honor. There were many worthy nominees all across campus. This, in addition to the hundreds of students that nominated faculty for CITL Teaching Honors, confirms that our faculty deserve recognition for their hard work and commitment to student learning and success at WKU. Congratulations to all faculty who have contributed to our academic mission especially during these challenging times!
