Monthly DEI Update, June 2021
- CDO
- Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021
Greeting WKU Campus Community!
As the DEI Leadership Team continues to plan for fall 2021 and spring 2022, we’d like to take time to acknowledge that June is PRIDE month. The entire month is dedicated to the memory of the Stonewall Riots of 1969 and all LGBTQ+ individuals who have struggled, and continue to struggle, against hatred because of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or gender expression. We take this month each year to advocate for the right of all people to live out loud and proud without fear of repercussions.
The WKU Topper Pride Alumni Association is offering the following Live-Stream PRIDE Month events. For more information on each, click the date:
Mario Nguyen - Alumni Feature |
Alayna Milby - DEI Council Presentation |
Patti Minter - Legislative Update |

Happy PRIDE Month!
