WKU to celebrate Parent & Family Weekend Sept. 24-26

WKU is celebrating Parent & Family Weekend Friday-Sunday (Sept. 24-26) with numerous events, highlighted by recognition of the 2021 Family of the Year during WKU Football’s game against Indiana.
Parent & Family Weekend begins Friday (Sept. 24) with WKU Softball vs. Lakeland Community College at 3 p.m., WKU Volleyball vs. Marshall at 6 p.m. and Back To The Classics concert by the WKU Symphony at 7:30 p.m. The Kentucky Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; admission is free.
A full day of events on Saturday (Sept. 25) includes the Mahurin Honors College Brunch at 10 a.m., ISEC Open House at 11 a.m., WKU Volleyball vs. Marshall at noon, WKU Student Publications Open House at 2 p.m., Gordon Ford College of Business at 3 p.m., Hilltopper Family Cookout at 4 p.m. and WKU Football vs. Indiana at 7 p.m. The Kentucky Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; admission is free.
Events conclude on Sunday (Sept. 26) with a Family Farewell Brunch at 11 a.m. More: Parent & Family Weekend schedule
WKU encourages parents and families to purchase Hilltopper Family Cookout and Farewell Brunch tickets in advance to ensure a quick check-in on Sept. 24 (4-8 p.m.) or Sept. 25 (8 a.m.-6 p.m.) on the second floor of the Downing Student Union. Register online
