- Monday, September 20th, 2021
On September 16th and 17th, Chang laoshi and Reece Gillespie traveled to Knoxville visit high school classrooms to recruit for WKU and the Chinese Flagship Program. Iaoshi and Reece visited Webb School of Knoxville and Hardin Valley Academy and spoke with three different Chinese classes. After a Q&A, Iaoshi and Gillespie gave gifts to the students. It was an excellent experience for our Modern Language students and according to Gillespie, "This same presentation was given to me when I was in high school, and it certainly aided in my decision to attend WKU."
