30 WKU students candidates for 2021 Homecoming queen

Thirty students are candidates for 2021 Homecoming queen at WKU.
The 2021 queen will be crowned Saturday, Oct. 30, during halftime of WKU Football vs. Charlotte at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
This year’s Homecoming theme is “Wild, Wild Western.” Queen candidates will participate in activities during Homecoming Week including a fall social on Sunday, an interview on Tuesday, a banquet on Wednesday, a volunteer experience on Thursday and the Homecoming parade/Big Red’s Roar on Friday. WKU students will cast their votes for queen in online balloting on Monday.
Homecoming queen candidates are:
- Bailey Alexander of Danville, daughter of Eddie and Gina Alexander. She is an English for Secondary Teachers major and is sponsored by Rho Lambda.
- Bridget Beavin of Louisville, daughter of Chris and Andrea Beavin. She is a Political Science and History major and is sponsored by Potter College Dean's Council.
- Madison Boothe of Central City, daughter of Shannon and Byron Boothe. She is a Communication Disorders major and is sponsored by Chi Omega and Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
- Hannah Boucher of Nolensville, Tennessee, daughter of John and Tracy Boucher. She is an Accounting major and is sponsored by Kappa Delta and Sigma Phi Epsilon.
- Abi Canter of Shelbyville, Tennessee, daughter of Keith and Shannon Canter. She is a Corporate and Organizational Communication major with a minor in Psychological Studies and is sponsored by Alpha Delta Pi, Farmhouse and Alpha Tau Omega.
- Cyn'clara Cofer of Bowling Green, daughter of Terri Sweatt and Dathan Cofer. She is a Business Finance major with a certificate in Applied Data Analytics and Advanced Professionalism and is sponsored by Women in Business.
- Me'Lon Craighead of Detroit, Michigan, daughter of Meyoshi Craighead and Marlon Williams. She is a Marketing major with a minor in Entrepreneurship and is sponsored by Student Government Association.
- Madison Feria of Bowling Green, daughter of Eduardo and Sandi Feria. She is a Biochemistry major and is sponsored by Dance Big Red.
- Bria Garvin of Bowling Green, daughter of Deb Gatto and Kevin Garvin. She is a Forensic Psychology and Paralegal Studies major with a minor in Political Science and is sponsored by Mahurin Honors College Scholars of Color.
- Ryann Gillespie of Memphis, Tennessee, daughter of Rita Houston and Dennis Gillespie. She is an Anthropology major with minors in History and Folk Studies and is sponsored by National Pan-Hellenic Council.
- Hannah Godby of Russell Springs, daughter of Amy Floyd and David Godby. She is a Biology major with minors in Sales and Chemistry and is sponsored by Alpha Gamma Delta and Phi Delta Theta.
- Ally Hagerman of Bowling Green, daughter of Teresa Hagerman. She is an Agriculture major and is sponsored by Sigma Alpha.
- Savanna Hinchcliffe of Owensboro, daughter of Paul Hinchcliffe. She is a Public Relations and Organizational Leadership major with a minor in Digital Advertising and is sponsored by Delta Zeta and Kappa Alpha.
- Lucy Hubbs of Louisville, daughter of Mark and Nicole Hubbs. She is a Mechanical Engineering major and is sponsored by Panhellenic and IFC.
- Madeline Lee of Richmond, daughter of Jason and Ruth Ann Lee. She is a Human Resources major with a minor in Finance and is sponsored by Delta Sigma Pi.
- Claire Linder of Louisville, daughter of Mark and Beth Linder. She is a Mathematical Economics major with a minor in Marketing and is sponsored by WKU Spirit Masters.
- Delaney Mazza of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, daughter of Frank and Nancy Mazza. She is a Special Education major with a minor in American Sign Language and is sponsored by Best Buddies.
- Meg Morrow of Paducah, daughter of Brian and Ann Morrow. She is a Strategic Marketing major with a minor in Meeting and Convention Planning and is sponsored by Alpha Xi Delta, Lambda Chi Alpha and Alpha Gamma Rho.
- Makayla Mosier of Bowling Green, daughter of Dan and Anne Mosier. She is a Dietetics/Nutrition major and is sponsored by Order of Omega.
- Abbey Norvell of Corbin, daughter of Martin and Ashley Norvell. She is a Journalism major with minors in Creative Writing and Sales and is sponsored by Alpha Omicron Pi and Kappa Sigma.
- Nikki Ogorek of Bloomington, Illinois, daughter of Mike and Dawn Ogorek. She is a BFA Graphic Design major with minors in User Experience and Digital Advertising and is sponsored by Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
- Isabel Pergande of Lexington, daughter of Tom and Delia Pergande. She is a Political Science and History major and is sponsored by HonorsToppers.
- Lydia Proffitt of Tompkinsville, daughter of Darrick and Stacy Proffitt. She is a Mathematics and Middle Grades Math Education major with a minor in American Sign Language and is sponsored by Omega Phi Alpha and Sigma Chi.
- Briana Robertson of Louisville, daughter of Diana and Kelvin Alexander. She is a Civil Engineering major with a minor in Geographic Information Systems and is sponsored by National Society of Black Engineers and American Society of Civil Engineers.
- Shelby Robertson of Russell Springs, daughter of Pam and Brent Robertson. She is a Biology major and is sponsored by Alpha Epsilon Delta and WKU Student for Breast Cancer Awareness.
- Rachel Robinson of Russell Springs, daughter of Chris and Marquita Robinson. She is a Political Science and Economics major and is sponsored by Sigma Kappa and Phi Gamma Delta.
- McKenzie Rodgers of White Plains, daughter of Jeff and Kristal Rodgers. She is a Communication Sciences and Disorders major with a minor in Business Administration and is sponsored by Student Alumni Ambassadors.
- Erin Sisk of Beaver Dam, daughter of Brad and Pam Sisk. She is an Accounting major and is sponsored by Baptist Campus Ministry.
- Kallie Jo Smith of Lawrenceburg, daughter of Joe and Tamara Smith. She is a Psychology major with a minor in Child Studies and is sponsored by Phi Mu, Delta Tau Delta and Sigma Nu.
- ShyAnte'e Williams of Heidelberg, Germany, daughter of Kenara Thorn and Andante' Williams. She is an Environmental Science and Sustainability major with a minor in Musical Theater and is sponsored by Campus Activities Board.
