The FDA added more hand sanitizer brands to a list of manufacturers that contain the toxic contaminant methanol (wood alcohol). Anyone who has these products should discontinue use and safely dispose of the product.

The FDA issued a warning on June 19, 2020 to not use hand sanitizer manufactured by Eskbiochem, as those products could contain methanol, which can be toxic when absorbed through the skin or ingested.
