WKU annually recognizes outstanding contributions by faculty members in the areas of Teaching, Research and Creativity, Public Service, Student Advisement, and Teaching by Part-Time Faculty. The following faculty members are the recipients of the University Awards:

• Dr. Ching-Yi Lin is the University Award Winner for Teaching. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Music in Potter College of Arts & Letters.
• Dr. Jason Crandall is the University Award Winner for Research/Creativity. He is an Associate Professor in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation & Sport in the College of Health and Human Services.
• Dr. Brad Stinnett is the University Award Winner for Public Service. He is an Assistant Professor of School of Kinesiology, Recreation & Sport in the College of Health and Human Services.
• Dr. Ke Peng is the University Award Winner for Student Advisement. She is an Associate Professor in Department of Modern Languages in Potter College of Arts & Letters.
• Dr. Jessica Furgerson is the University Award Winner for Part-Time Teaching. She teaches in the Department of Communication in Potter College of Arts & Letters and serves as Director of Debate for the WKU Forensics Team.
