Ron Wilson is the Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. He previously served as the Director of Development for the College of Health & Human Services and the Suzanne Vitale Clinical Education Complex at Western Kentucky University (WKU). Ron graduated from WKU with a double major, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Speech Communication, and a Masters of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration. He is a 2008 graduate of the Management Development Program at Harvard University.

His professional career started in higher education, working at WKU, Murray State and Kentucky Wesleyan. In 1997, Ron began working in development for Owensboro Mercy Health System in Owensboro, KY and moved to Bowling Green in 2000 to work as the founding Executive Director for the Commonwealth Health Foundation at The Medical Center. Ron joined WKU in 2004.

Ron has enjoyed serving on various committees with the Bowling Green Area Chamber over the years. He is a past president of the Chamber Ambassadors and a past chair of the Governmental Relations Committee. Ron, a 2011 graduate of Leadership Kentucky, was recently elected to the board of directors. Ron is an active member and past president of the Bowling Green Noon Rotary Club. Ron has been actively involved in his professional association, Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) for the past 10 years holding positions of President and Conference Chair on the state level and conference planning committee on a regional level.
