Jan M. West obtained her bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in 1987 where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She obtained a law degree from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1990. She is a member of Goldberg Simpson law firm in Louisville, Kentucky, where she practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation and employment law. Ms. West also serves as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the American Arbitration Association. Ms. West was selected for inclusion in Kentucky Super Lawyers for 2008-2016, 2019-2021 and the Best Lawyers in America for 2020 and 2022.
Ms. West is a member of the Louisville Zoo Foundation Board of Directors; the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana; and is a member of the Board of Directors of Clearpath Mutual Insurance Company. She is married to Jonathan Goldberg and has two daughters, Lilly and Lauren. Her term on the Board ends June, 2026.
