Derrick G. Helm is a lifelong resident of Russell County, Kentucky. He has devoted his career to serving the legal needs of southcentral Kentuckians. Derrick is a Western Kentucky University Alumni (2006) and Salmon P. Chase College of Law Alumni (2009). He is admitted to practice in all the Courts of the Commonwealth of Kentucky (2009), United States District Court Western District of Kentucky (2009), United States District Court Eastern District of Kentucky (2009) and the United States 6th Circuit Court of Appeals (2009). Derrick serves as General Counsel to the Lake Cumberland Area Development District and the Lake Cumberland Community Action Agency. Derrick also serves on the Kentucky Lottery Corporation Board. Derrick is married to Terran Cross Helm, and they have two children. His term ends in June 2030.
