Cadet officers and noncommissioned officers have the responsibility and the authority to give orders and directives to junior cadets when required in the performance of assigned duties. The leadership of the cadet battalion has further responsibility to maintain the military courtesy, appearance, and discipline of each cadet during official and non-official functions. As such, cadet officers and noncommissioned officers are authorized and required to make on-the-spot corrections of their peers and juniors to maintain the high standards of the battalion.Corrections should be made in a professional manner.Cadets in all classes are expected to know their chain of command, both cadre and cadet, and use the chain of command in seeking information or solving problems.Grievances from individual cadets are channeled through the cadet chain of command.Note the PMS/Cadre open door policy.
