WKU Sisterhood Spotlight: Anne Greenwell ('64)

When did you attend WKU? 1961-1964 “My freshman year was spent at a Christian college (a girl’s school) in Missouri.”
What activities were you involved in as a student? “I was a member of Zeta Tau Omega, a local sorority. I was President my senior year when we petitioned Kappa Delta and became a National Sorority.”
Do you have a favorite memory from the Hill? “My favorite memories are the friendships I had and of course meeting my husband at WKU. We have been married 59 years.”
If you work, what do you do? “I was a social worker, but I am retired.”
Tell us about your family: “I have three children. One daughter, who graduated from WKU, and two sons, one who graduated from University of Cincinnati and the other who graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston. I also have three grandsons.”
Do you have any passion projects, other than WKU Sisterhood? “I am a member of the John Marshall DAR chapter and the Middletown Lions Club.”
Fun fact about yourself: “I don’t know how fun this is, but I am an avid bridge player.”
