When did you attend WKU: 1978-1982

What activities were you involved in as a student: I played intramural basketball. Our team name was “The Hooketts”

If you work, tell us what you do: I’m retired. Currently, I am an artist who enjoys doing oil paintings of pets, dogs in particular. One of my most unusual paintings is a bat in a tree.

Do you have a favorite memory from the Hill?  I met some of my best friends on the Hill; in particular, George, my best friend, soulmate and husband of 40 years.

Tell us about your family: We have three adult children—Courtney, Jessica and George—and my Portuguese Water Dog, Stoney.

Do you have any passion projects, other than WKU Sisterhood? I enjoy the WKU Board of Regents and being a part of the WKU ISEC program.

Fun Fact about yourself: I enjoy watching scary movies.
