Given the new course delivery plan for the university, the Office of Research & Creative Activity has decided to extend the Fall 2020 FUSE application deadline.

• Student Applications will now be due to mentors on Monday, March 30, 2020.
• Finalized applications, with completed student and faculty sections, should be emailed to fuse@wku.edu by Monday, April 6, 2020.

We hope this new deadline will allow faculty and students to focus their efforts on curriculum needs during this transition. The new deadline will likely delay award notification possibly after Commencement. Please know we will make every effort to be as efficient as possible with award notifications.

OCSE Graduate Curriculum Committee Meeting. 

This year's Kentucky Junior Academy of Science is going ahead as an online event. If it's not usually convenient to come to Frankfort to see our outstanding young scientists, now is your chance to participate as a Judge without having to travel!  Details about the event

We need judges in all topic areas for the morning sessions, and we may also need judges for the afternoon session with the finalists.
Log in and Sign up here to judge. You'll see a signup link on your Member menu where you'll be able to choose your preferred topics.

The tentative schedule for the day looks like this. (Central time folks, we may be able to delay the start time if registration is low this year-- let me know if you'd be interested in that!)

(Friday 5pm April 17: Optional orientation for students and/or judges, to log in to Zoom and see how it works)

Saturday April 18,
8:30 EDT - Judges orientation meeting (BYO coffee!)
9am- Students log in & get sorted into session rooms
9:30 am - Presentations begin
11:30 Lunch break & judges deliberation
1:00 afternoon  finalists presentations for HS categories only
