Teacher Apprenticeship Summit

This statewide summit will provide school districts with an understanding of the newly created USDOL K-12 Teacher Registered Apprenticeship and the step-by-step process to establish a viable apprenticeship program in their own districts.

- The USDOL requirements and expectations for registered apprenticeships and what resources are needed to achieve them.
- The components of a registered teacher apprenticeship pathway.
- Steps to developing a K-12 Teacher Work Process tailored to your specific school district.
- Steps to partnering with a university education preparation program to implement an apprenticeship completion pathway.
- Steps to registering the apprenticeship with the Kentucky Office of Employer and Apprenticeship Services.
