About Web Content Management
WKU uses a content management system that allows for the creation and management of websites. Each site has a Main Site Contact that is the primary point of contact for ITS. User management and other site administration tools are available through Add-Ons.
Academic Sites & Organizations - www vs orgs
Academic and support units at WKU use the enterprise content management systems (CMS) to create and maintain their websites. These sites have an address formatted as www.wku.edu/site-name.
Campus Organizations and Student Groups can also request CMS managed websites. These sites have an address formatted as orgs.wku.edu/organization-name
Request a Site
Only Faculty/Staff can request sites. If you want to request an organizational site please have your Faculty/Staff sponsor put this request in.
Get Trained
Before gaining access to the CMS, all users must complete a training course in Blackboard.
