For gifted students who have completed sixth, seventh, or eighth grade, SCATS, The Summer Camp for Academically Talented Middle School Students, presents a unique learning environment to explore new ideas, develop concepts, make friends, and share experiences. SCATS classes open new doors of learning for gifted young people and provide a comfortable social atmosphere where they can be who they truly are.

From on-line to on-air and so much more.  The annual High School Media workshops offer four days of training in either photojournalism, broadcasting, or film covering every facet of the independent cinema process. Designed to challenge and motivate students these annual workshops are sponsored by the Kentucky High School Media Institute and the School of Journalism & Broadcasting.

 If your child loves to write, this is the perfect summer camp! We will focus on writing to make a difference during this 3-day event, and the campers will present their work on the last day of the camp. Everything your child will need, including meals and snacks, will be provided. All camp counselors are cerfied teachers.

This camp is designed to prepare high school and club teams and individual players for the upcoming season. HSA staff coaches will work personally with each coach to implement tactics that highlight team strengths.

Players will improve field awareness through a series of instructional sessions designed to develop skills, as well as a better understanding of the game. Goalkeepers will receive individual instruction from our qualified goalkeeper staff. Each team will compete in a championship tournament, and independent campers will join an appropriate team based on age and ability.

Additional activities may include strength & conditioning, injury prevention, soccer nutrition, college recruiting discussion, pick-up games and panels about college life. HSA will provide room & board, free of charge, for a coach or manager from each team.
