GIVE RED, GIVE LIFE | WKU vs. MTSU Blood Drive

October 10-12th | 10am-6pm | Preston Center Blue Courts

The WKU campus and surrounding community is invited to participate in the Give Red, Give Life blood drive benefiting the American Red Cross on October 10-12, 2016. The blood drive is a competitive way in which supporters can help donate blood during the week leading up to the Western Kentucky University vs. Middle Tennessee State University football game. The school that receives the most blood donations for the American Red Cross will be recognized at the game in Murfreesboro on October 15.

Appointments are encouraged, but not required.

For nearly 20 years, Carol worked in child welfare addressing child maltreatment and familial dysfunction whle battling a system responsible for disproportional treatment and outcomes for families and children of color. She now serves as Bias Incident Response Coordinator for the Univeristy of Kentucky Violence Intervention and Prevention Center where she provides advocacy and support for those impacted by instances of bias, hate, and identity-based violence and works to create and nurture a culture of belonging.
