WKU Swipe‐able Event

Event includes Q&A with Rigged producer Alissa Figueroa, Fusion, & WKU alum Clint Waters, with Bowling Green’s own Hitcents, which developed the Rigged iOS & Android game where you can ‘rig’ your own election, as seen in the film. There's a dirty secret to American democracy—Too often,  you don't choose your politicians; your politicians choose you.  Rigged, Fusion’s latest Naked Truth investigative documentary (with portions filmed here in Bowling Green), lays out the methods politicians may use to maximize the power of the votes they want and suppress those they don’t, through processes like gerrymandering...and explores how a medium like a mobile game might help make us aware of these processes.
