This exhibit tells the stories of freshmen year from participants in a student success intiative, WKU Freshmen Guided Pathway (FGP). This cohort of first-time, full-time students who graduated from one of five high schools in Warren County represent the typical WKU freshman in terms of academic achievement prior to admission and their demographic makeup.

WKU’s Cultural Enhancement Series and the Kentucky Museum host award winning artist Patrick Dougherty in October 2018 on WKU’s campus in Bowling Green, Ky. Dougherty created Highbrow, a sculpture made from intertwined tree saplings, on the Museum's front lawn.

Primarily featuring textiles from the Kentucky Museum and Kentucky Historical Society, Whitework: Women Stitching Identity explores the significance of early white embellished textiles that have been largely ignored, undervalued, and misinterpreted.

Free strategy workshops are offered to introduce the exam and provide valuable tips. The Strategy Workshops focus on test mechanics, including test administration and scoring, and provide students with ideas about preparing for the exams, either on their own or through a course like ours. Workshops are offered each semester in an online format. 

Join us for an informative introduction to the revised GRE. If you are preparing for graduate school, you know that success on the GRE exam will play a critical role in your acceptance into the program of your choice. You want to study with the best. Come meet with our experienced instructor to learn about the test and pick up a few tricks. We know you'll get a lot out of this free session. Due to limited space pre-registration is required.

Outdoor Farmers Market 11am-2pm at Centennial Plaza (along the Avenue of Champions in front of PS2). The Market features vendors from our local farmer's markets selling products and WKU Offices with free giveaways and informational items.

The purpose of the ARREST THE FEAR series is to educate, expose, and equip WKU students with knowledge and understanding related to the systematic dynamics of law enforcement.  In addition, the series will teach students to build relationships with law enforcement, advocate properly, and protect themselves.

Partners include: WKU, ISEC, County/City/WKUPD/individuals from Bowling Green and Warren County.
