If your parent(s) or guardian(s) do not have a Bachelor's degree (four-year degree), then you would be a first-generation college student.

Being first-gen can seem daunting, but you are not alone!  There are about 4,480 first-generation students and a lot of helpful resources at WKU.  This summer, experience campus life, connect with students and faculty, learn to navigate the transition to college, and have a great time!

Step 1: Submit an Interest Form response on our webpage!

Applications will be sent beginning April 4 to people who submit an Interest Form response.  Let us know you are interested, today!
