The WKU Center for Citizenship & Social Justice invites campus and community members to the next lecture in its spring 2018 “Second Tuesday Salons” series on Tuesday (April 10).
Dr. Anthony Harkins of the WKU History Department will present Race, Class, Region and Television from the Beverly Hillbillies to Duck Dynasty from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Downing Student Union, room 2123.
“Second Tuesday Salons” is a lecture series for WKU faculty, staff, students and community members to gather and discuss complex contemporary issues. The typical format of “Second Tuesday Salons” includes a short presentation on a topic, followed by facilitated discussion.
"Second Tuesday Salons" are open to anyone interested in participating. Refreshments will be provided.
