About the Presenter
Adam Alter is an Associate Professor of Marketing at New York University’s Stern School of Business, with an affiliated appointment in the New York University Psychology Department.
He is the author of the bestselling book Irresistible (2017) and has also written for the New York Times, New Yorker, Washington Post, Atlantic, WIRED, Slate, Huffington Post, and Popular Science, among other publications.
About the WEDGE Visiting Scholar Presentations
The Wedge Visiting Scholar Presentations, a free evening lecture and all-day workshop for educators and the public, has been presented each year since 2003 through a gift from the Wedge family.
