Description:

In our Kell Distinguished Lecture Series for 2020 we have Dr. Mitch McKinney, our department's 2020 Alumnus of the Year. Dr. McKinney is a world-renowned scholar in political debates and has served in numerous political positions, including as a staffer at both the U.S. Senate and the White House. He has provided expert political commentary for numerous international media outlets and has been published 8 times.

The week before this year's presidential election, Dr. McKinney will be spending time with WKU students analyzing the presidential race and its impact on social media. In particular, we are excited for his presentation that is available to the whole WKU community via Zoom on October 27th at 7 PM, which will be analyzing the last presidential debate and social media's response to it.
