CourseLeaf components are only available for use on the www website and are not supported on orgs websites.
The Course Information component gets the most up to date details about a course from
the WKU Course Catalog to place on your site. Details include the subject code, course number, hours, details,
and semesters offered if available. These components can placed anywhere on your page,
but they work especially well in the main column content area or snippets like modals,
cards, or accordions. Adding multiple course components to a single page can negatively
affect load times. For displaying information about a program, see the Program Information Component.
Component Fields
Subject Code
A subject code is two to four letters that identifies the department or program offering
the course. Departments and programs may have more than one subject code. Ex. ENG, ENGL, GEOG, or ACCT
Course Code
A course code or course number is the group of numbers (and sometimes letters to designate
sections) for a specific course in a program or department. Ex. 101, 200, or 450G
