Sarah McMaine-Render holds two degrees from WKU, a Bachelors of Science in Exceptional Education and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. During her undergrad and graduate studies Sarah was employed at the Kelly Autism Program. She served as president for Kentucky’s Student Council for Exceptional Children. She also was awarded the Kathleen McCarten Outstanding Student Award at the Division of Early Childhood International Conference. After graduation Sarah remained at WKU and became the Program Manager for the Kelly Autism Program.
Presently Sarah works with KAP’s Circle of Support which provides services to college students diagnosed with ASD. During her time with the Kelly Autism Program Sarah has presented about Autism Spectrum Disorder at both the state and national levels.
