Reduce Packaging
Green Reusables and Disposables
We minimize our waste by reducing, reusing and recycling. Across our operations, we have established practices from initial purchase to final waste disposal that decrease the overall cost of waste both environmentally and financially. We place special emphasis on reducing single-use plastics – skipping straws and stirrers across our operations is just the beginning.
Trayless Dining
Both of our residential locations practice trayless dining. Dining tray-less helps minimize food waste, conserves energy & water, and reduces the amount of cleaning chemicals entering the waste stream.
Compostable Containers
Fresh Food Company, Burrito Bowl, & Subway all use compostable To-Go containers and bag to help divert waste from the landfill.

WKU Catering
- Offers compostable cups/plates/utensils as an option
All of our restaurants at WKU recycle used cooking oil, use eco-cleaning products, us eco-friendly napkins and recycle cardboard. We partner with WKU to recycle cardboard and used cooking oil from all restaurants across campus. We are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint. Look for signs in our locations for information on where to put your recyclables.
