Terms & Conditions

First-Year Resident Students: WKU is committed to providing its students with a comprehensive educational experience. The university has determined that on-campus dining has numerous educational, social and dietary benefits. In recognition of the value of the living-learning experience, WKU requires first-year students living on campus to be automatically enrolled in the All Access meal plan. Meal Plan contracts are for the full academic year. On-campus Meal Plans Dollars expire at the end of each academic year, which means they will roll over from Fall semester to Spring semester if needed.  First-year resident students may upgrade to the VIP All Access. The downgrade deadline is set three weeks after the first day of class. Meal Plan downgrades will not be accepted after these dates.

Upper-class and Commuter Full-Time students:   Full-timeupper-class or commuter students with 12 or more main campus hours may choose from any of the first-year resident student meal plans or either of the Block plans. If an upper class fulltime student does not enroll in a traditional Meal Plan, they will automatically be enrolled in the Flex $325 Plan. Students may upgrade to the Flex $500 or Block plans. If a student chooses to upgrade to the Flex $500 or a traditional meal plan they will be exempt from the Flex $325 Plan. Meal plan contracts are for the full academic year. The downgrade deadline for Meal Plans is set three weeks after the first day of class. Meal Plan downgrades will not be accepted after these dates. Off-campus full-time students that do not have 3 or more 'face-to-face' classes on the main campus will be exempt from the Flex $325 Plan during that semester.

Things to remember:

  • Weekly meal swipes begin on Monday morning and expire on Sunday night each week.
  • Block Plan meals will expire at the end of each semester.
  • Meal Plan Dollar balances will remain on the students WKU ID from Fall to Spring semester but will expire on the last day of the Spring semester.
  • Flex Dollars, if needed, will roll over semester to semester and year to year. Upon graduation or departure from the University, any remaining Flex will be forfeited.

All funds and Meal Plans purchased for use at WKU Restaurant Group locations are for the personal use of the owner of the account or plan only and are non-transferable. The WKU Restaurant Group funds and plans cannot be used as a gift card or gift certificate. Except as otherwise expressly stated in these terms, all WKU Restaurant Group funds and Meal Plans are non-refundable and will expire at the earlier of the last day of enrollment or employment, as applicable, or the last day of the spring semester. Meals may not be bought or sold and Meal Plan holder must accompany guest when using guest meals.
