An Invitation . . .

In an effort to make this site more comprehensive, we invite contributions from other teachers. We can always use additional material to support the types of writing already presented, but we would especially like to include material for other types of writing not currently on the site, such as Observation Logs (Writing to Learn), Book Reports and Research Papers (Writing to Demonstrate Learning), and Personal Essays and Research Articles for Scholarly Journals (Authentic Writing). We would also like to include more Authentic Writing from content areas other than the language arts.

Submissions may include a variety of material as suggested by the form itself, but all should at least include a description of the writing assignment/prompt, sample(s) of student work, reflective commentary by the student, and commentary by the teacher. We also require the permission of student authors to include their work.
