April is Autism Awareness Month
The Vitale Clinical Education Complex is participating in the Light it Up Blue global initiative, as well as offering several activities to promote awareness.
- Throughout the month of April - Spencer's Coffee Shop is honoring Autism Awareness Month with two signature beverages named after their sons, Owen and Lewis. Spencer's will donate $1.00 from the sale of each of these beverages to the Renshaw Early Childhood Center.
- Monday, April 21, 10:00am-7:00pm - Serving Up Awareness: An Autism Awareness Event at Griff's Deli. This 3rd annual event will include autism screenings for children aged 12 months to 48 months, children's awareness activities, and more. Griff's Deli will donate 10% of the day's profits to the Renshaw Early Childhood Center. More details are provided on the flyer below. Please call 270-745-2773 for more information on this event.
- Saturday, April 26 - Eighth Annual LifeSkills Run for Autism will be held at the Bowling Green Ballpark. Sign-in and Registration begins at 6:30 am. The four mile run begins at 8:00 am and the one mile walk begins at 9:00 am. For more information, go to autismrun.org.
