General Meal Plan Information
Whether you live on or off campus, a Meal Plan is by far the most economical and most convenient way to eat on campus by offering more value for your dollar! Meals can be used for all-u-care-to-eat meals in the Fresh Food Company or to purchase a 'Value Meal' at most of our other dining locations. Meal Plan Dollars come with the Meal Plans and offer you even more flexibility! You can use your Meal Plan Dollars in on-campus restaurants and at the on-campus convenience stores.
For your convenience all Meal Plans will be billed to your university bill. This allows the student to choose their Meal Plan on their T.O.P. orientation day and not need to make any payments.
Required Meal Plan Policy
All resident first-year students (i.e., all students living on campus less than two regular session semesters unless age 21 or over) will participate in one of the on campus meal plans at the 10 meal plan level or greater. Meal Plan Members will automatically be re-enrolled for the same plan chosen in the Fall semester for the Spring semester. This requirement is not influenced by changes in class standing that may occur during the student's first year at WKU. If your housing exemption form has been approved and is on file with the university, you will not be required to purchase a Meal Plan. Some exemptions may be granted for verifiable medical conditions that cannot be fulfilled by any of the memberships. Appeals for exemption from this University requirement should be made in an email to the Resident District Manager.
Terms and Conditions:
All funds and plans purchased for use in WKU RG locations are for the personal use of the owner of the account or plan only and are non-transferable. The WKU RG Meal Plans cannot be used as a gift card or gift certificate except as otherwise expressly stated in these terms. Meals within the WKU RG Meal Plans are non-refundable and will expire at the last day of the current week or semester. Meal Plan Dollars, if any exist, will roll from Fall to Spring semester. Meal Plan Dollars will expire the Friday of spring finals week.
