Determination of Inorganic Anions by Ion Chromatography

This method is used to determine chloride, fluoride, bromide, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, and sulfate anions.

Sample types

The samples must be aqueous, and can include:

• Drinking water
• Wastewater
• Aqueous extracts of solids
• Collection solutions from the bomb combustion of solid waste samples

Sample size

• Minimum, 10 mL
• Recommended, 100mL

Applicable analytes

• Chloride (Cl^-)
• Bromide (Br^-)
