Rheometer
AMI has a TA Instruments Discovery HR-2 Hybrid Rheometer.
Rheology is the study of flow and deformation of materials under the influence of an external force or stress. The combination of stress, strain and shear behavior forms the basis of rheology, the science of the deformation of materials. Our HR-2 is able to measure both viscosity and viscoelasticity of fluids and soft-solids.
Applications:
- Viscosity of high viscosity liquids, pastes, and polymer solutions and melts
- Viscosity of LED encapsulant, solder paste, flux, underfill, die-attach adhesive,
glob top encapsulant, etc for electronic packaging industry
- Curing profile of thermoset plastics and UV-curing adhesives and encapsulant
- Rheology of polymers
- Viscoelasticity of polymers
