WKU Bass Fishing Team

High school student meeting: Wednesday, May 20, 3:00pm CDT

We are excited to host a statewide meeting for high school juniors (2019-20) and graduating seniors. We will be discussing WKU and the WKU Bass Fishing Team.

In addition, participating students will be entered for a chance to win of three (3), one-time, $500 scholarships (available to students attending WKU this fall).

For an invitation to this meeting, please contact your high school fishing coach.

Note: If you were not on a high school team this past year, but would like to participate in the meeting, please use your school email account to send an email to bass.fishing@wku.edu  before 5pm CDT, May 19. Please include your first and last name, high school principal's name, and why you are interested in the WKU Bass Fishing program.

WKU Bass Fishing Team is a student organization which supports WKU student members' participation in competitive fishing events. The organization's goals include fostering team member skill development, mentoring young anglers, and promoting conservation.

We are excited about our upcoming tournaments and hope you will follow our progress. This fishing tournaments often offer cash prizes which, if won, help support this organization and offset the expenses paid by our team members.

Securing financial support will allow us to fish more tournaments and have more chances to promote WKU.
