Hannah Nafziger and Dominic Castlen are first recipients of the Connie Foster Student Scholarship Endowment
- Wednesday, December 12th, 2018
Two WKU students have been awarded the inaugural Connie Foster Student Scholarship from the newly created endowment. Hannah Nafziger and Dominic Castlen are the recipients for the 2018-19 academic year.
Nafziger is a sophomore from Edwardsville, Illinois, pursuing a major in health care administration. She works in the Interlibrary Loan Department under the supervision of Ken Foushee. Nafziger says this scholarship will bring her one step closer to her dream of studying abroad.
Castlen is a junior from Lexington, Kentucky, pursuing a degree in accounting. He works in the Visual and Performing Arts Library under the supervision of Morgan Moran. Castlen says the scholarship will allow him to focus on his studies as well as bettering the community through working with WKU’s Habitat for Humanity.
“We are pleased to offer student scholarships on an annual basis,” said Susann deVries, dean of University Libraries. “Through the generous support of our donors, this newly created endowment was made a reality to help our students succeed.”
