Pre-Health Professional Focus
The Biology Department at WKU offers a wide range of pre-health professional tracks
for students wishing to enter professional schools after graduation. Our advising
faculty and staff keep up to date with admissions requirements and help students build
course schedules to prepare them for admission to their schools of choice and entrance
exams.
The Biology Department also recommends that students join student organizations that
provide additional counseling and professional development for their careers of choice.
Because students should consider both their curricular and extracurricular choices as important to their preparation for their future career and personal goals, we provide information on course requirements as well as on issues such as gaining practical experience and taking advantage of special undergraduate study programs.
