Black Leadership and Academic Conference (B.L.A.C.)
The Black Leadership and Academic Conference (B.L.A.C.) is a student led initiative, which seeks to provide programming that focuses on personal, academic and professional development of minority students, all while enhancing their overall quality of life at Western Kentucky University (WKU).
B.L.A.C seeks to offer opportunities to enhance one’s leadership abilities and scholastic performance; all while instilling wisdom of and fostering the culture of the minority student.
Students who attend B.L.A.C. will be able to identify campus resources for their academic, personal and professional success; discover ways to engage within the WKU, Bowling Green and global community; and matriculate from WKU prepared to be a productive member of tomorrow's society and a more engaged WKU alum.
B.L.A.C. is not just for students of color, but also for those who want to learn more about and work with students of color.
