What is Handshake & Why Use It?

Handshake is the ACDC's online career management platform. Employers partner with us to post open positions through Handshake. Students and alumni use it to search positions, post resumes, sign up for on-campus interviews, find out about job fairs and events where you can network with employers.

 

Account Set-up

New Students
WKU will automatically create your Handshake account after you register for classes.

Alumni
If you graduated in May 2018 or later, you already have a Handshake account. Otherwise, go to Handshake and click on "No account? Sign up here." and follow the instructions.  You can use any email address that you want. Accounts are typically approved within 48 business hours.
