- Petroleum Experts donate MOVE software worth $2.18 million to WKU Department of Geography and Geology: Petroleum Experts Inc. has donated the equivalent of $2.18 million in MOVE software to WKU’s Department of Geography and Geology. This software donation, which is a renewal of a previous donation, includes MOVE suites of analytical geological software, which is the most complete and comprehensive industry-standard modeling software for tectonics and structural geology.
- Mahurin Honors College, WBKO recognize 2018-2019 Scholar of the Week recipients: The Mahurin Honors College at WKU and WBKO-TV hosted a reception on Nov. 27 to honor the 2018-2019 Scholar of the Week recipients.
- 2018 Math Symposium Has a Record High Attendance: The 38th Annual Mathematics Symposium took place on Nov. 9-10 with a record high attendance.
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

- Women’s basketball: Porter, Niang's Big Nights Carry WKU Past Morgan State, 90-43: Sherry Porter poured in a career-high 17 points, Arame Niang captured her first double-double in a Lady Topper uniform and WKU led wire-to-wire in a 90-43 victory over Morgan State inside E.A. Diddle Arena in non-conference action on Wednesday evening. The win was the second straight at home for WKU (3-6), who featured a balanced scoring attack that saw every player who saw playing time score at least two points. Next: WKU at Little Rock at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
- Soccer: Neidell Announces First Group of Four Early Signees: Head Coach Jason Neidell has announced the first of three groups of early signees for Lady Topper Soccer, the first under the new early recruiting period in November. WKU's first group of signees includes four regional players, including one Kentucky native in Katie Erwin. Ansley Cate will make the short trek to The Hill from just across the border in Tennessee, while Logan Barber and Maddie Mitchell are set to join the Lady Toppers from Indiana and Ohio, respectively.
- Baseball: Countdown to First Pitch - 100 Days of Hilltopper History: As WKU prepares for the 100th Season of Hilltopper Baseball, WKU Athletics is treating fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Baseball, leading up to First Pitch at Nick Denes Field on February 15, 2019.

- WKU gifted ed advocate joins Prichard Committee board: Low-income, black and Hispanic students are underrepresented among Kentucky’s advanced students, a disparity longtime gifted education advocate Julia Link Roberts wants to help close as a new board member of Kentucky’s Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence.
- Hilltopper Creamery gives students a chance to create dairy delights: WKU is known for a lot of various things, but their agricultural department isn't one that springs to mind. But thanks to a recently started program, students are churning up attention to something unfamiliar to most. The art of cheese-making at the Hilltopper Creamery.
