Online Clinical Mental Health Counseling
The Department of Counseling and Student Affairs at Western Kentucky University is excited to announce that beginning in the fall of 2025, we will launch a fully digital Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program in addition to the residential CMHC program.
Students will have the same experiences as those enrolled in the residential program but will be able to complete the program through live synchronous (zoom) and fully online course offerings. Live synchronous zoom courses will be offered at the same time and dates as those meeting face to face. See TopNet for the Department’s schedule of classes.
Find out what you will learn in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program.
Applicants should submit their application after October 5, 2024 and before March 1, 2025
When applying to Graduate School, applicants must select digital (Versus selecting residential). Upon completing the admissions requirements (including being invited to and attending the Admissions Interview) and being accepted into the fully digital program, students will be immediately registered for the fall courses and should consult financial aid regarding tuition and respective due dates.
Admission to the online/digital pathway is only open each fall semester. (Residential applications are accepted for both the fall and spring.) Therefore, those seeking admission to the online pathway should submit their application by the March 1 deadline and when applying to Graduate School, applicants must select digital (Versus selecting residential). Upon completing the admissions requirements (including being invited to and attending the Admissions Interview) and being accepted into the fully digital program, students will be immediately registered for the fall courses and should consult financial aid regarding tuition and respective due dates.
