ETPL Approved & WIOA Eligible Career Training
The Kentucky Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) contains a list of programs that have been approved for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding. To qualify, the program must provide occupational skill training. Priority consideration is given for training programs that lead to recognized postsecondary credentials that align with in-demand industry sectors or occupations.
Individuals who qualify can receive funding to pay for these eligible training programs. Eligibility is based on multiple factors:
WIOA eligibility standards include age, income level, education and skills and work circumstances. For example, someone who has been laid off or who has received notice of a layoff as a result of a permanent closure or substantial layoff at a plant may be eligible for special assistance. Some programs are designed especially for youth who are between the ages of 14 and 21 and have very limited income. Other programs are designed for those 18 years of age and older.
More information is available through the Kentucky Career Center and individuals should contact their local Kentucky Career Center office to apply.
