Personal Finance Camp
June 15 -19, 2025
Grades 10-12
Learn from the experts at this exciting, hands-on, and engaging 5-day residential camp hosted by the WKU Department of Finance and WKU’s Center for Financial Success.

Sport Science Camp
June 5-6, 2025
Grades 7-12
Students will be taught how to measure and evaluate their current performance while also gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities to enhance their performance and maximize their potential.

Criminal Justice Camp

Join us this summer for an exciting, four-day Criminal Justice Camp experience at Western Kentucky University, designed specifically for students passionate about exploring careers in criminal justice, law enforcement, and forensic sciences.

Python I Coding Camp
June 16 - 27, 2025 (M-F)
Grades 7-11
This program will help you learn all of the necessary Python fundamentals to start
building applications in Python.

Python II Coding Camp
July 14 - 25, 2025 (M-F)
Grades 7-11
Ready to take your Python skills to the next level? In Python II, we'll build on your existing knowledge of Python and dive into more exciting and challenging topics. You'll learn how to create your own games, solve puzzles, and explore how to use Python for data analysis.

Green AI Camp
Dates July 28-August 1, 2025
Grades 7 - 12
Through workshops, coding labs, and case studies, participants gain hands-on experience
in training AI models with sustainability in mind. Whether new to AI or experienced,
students will develop the skills to create smarter and greener AI solutions.

Leaders in Law
July 14-16, 2025
Ages 14-18
A three-day immersion experience into the world of law where you will: learn about the law and its processes, debate current events, interact with legal professionals and state legislators, visit courts and law offices, review a mock trial, and work with other campers to prepare presentations.

Being first-gen can seem daunting, but you are not alone! There are about 4,480 first-generation students and a lot of helpful resources for you at WKU. This summer, join a group of other high school students who will be first-generation Hilltoppers to explore some essentials of college life!
